Remedial Massage
All sessions at Need to be Kneaded are completely customised, so we do not have different sessions for “Swedish” vs “Deep Tissue” massage styles. When you come in for your visit, we will discuss your needs and then create a personalised Massage Treatment Plan just for you.
Remedial Massage is a more focused type of massage, as we work to release chronic muscle tension or “knots.” It doesn’t mean deep pressure and it doesn’t mean it will hurt. The aim is to reduce pain and tension, assist the body’s natural healing process and relax your body and mind.
If you have discomfort or pain, it will take a series of massages to achieve best results.
Pregnancy Massage
Help relieve the pain and stress of pregnancy with a blissful pregnancy massage.
Monica has studied with Pregnancy Massage Australia to obtain a Certificate of Pregnancy Massage. This means she can use specialised massage techniques to alleviate pain and discomfort, whilst promoting relaxation. You are treated in positions that are comfortable for both you and your baby, supported and surrounded by pillows. Because of this certification, you can enjoy massage throughout your entire pregnancy.
It is highly recommended to have a regular program of massage during your pregnancy to reduce stress, alleviate discomfort and prevent the development of stretch marks.

Slice of Heaven This blissful experience combines a one hour Hot Stone Massage using a personalised blend of essential oils and hot steamed towels.
