Sports Massage Kalispell

Sports Massage lives up to its name by being especially effective for those involved in sports or really any type of fitness training. Sports massage involves both massage techniques and stretches that can be catered especially to the needs of the athlete by focusing on the muscles actively engaged during the activity. It tends to be given with faster movements stimulating the circulatory system, warming up the muscles, and helps to charge the athlete mentally to perform their ultimate best!

Sports massage is used to advantage pre-event, inter-event, post-event, and during rehabilitation. Before and during events, its primary focus is to enhance the athletic performance and maximize the performance of the athlete by relaxing and lengthening (or gently stretching) the muscle fibers and connective tissue, and doing gentle range of motion on the joints. This work significantly decreases the chance of injuries during the activity.

Post-event or during rehabilitation benefits include greatly increased recovery time (some say it shortens recovery time by at least 50%) whether there were injuries or not simply because the lactic acid in the muscles is being worked out much faster bringing a fresh supply of healing blood through the tired muscles. Some use sports massage while training or doing workouts so that they can increase their training times as well as the intensity of their training because they no longer need the usual recovery time periods.

Prices for Sports Massage are:

30 minutes $35.00
60 minutes $60.00
90 minutes $85.00
